Schools
The area is currently served by three primary schools. Heath Primary in Bell Lane, Cedarwood Primary south of Ropes Drive and Gorselands Primary in Martlesham.
The area is also served by a High School which incorporates both sport and arts provision and a sixth form which opened in September 2001.
The Town Council has representatives on the Board of Governors of each school.
