Youth Centre
The centre meets on Tuesday evenings 7.30pm to 9.00pm for school years 5 to 8 and Thursday evening 7.30pm to 9.00pm for school years 8 onwards at Kesgrave Youth Centre (previously Kesgrave Youth Club)
Activities such as art and craft, pool, indoor hockey, basketball, indoor football, tuck shop, chill-out room and free toast are run. After the first week free a nominal charge of 50p a week is levied.
The centre is run by All Saints Church which provides paid youth workers plus volunteers and is supported by a grant from Kesgrave Town Council and funds from SPARK.
A support committe has also been set up to support this work and to identify future options as the Youth Centre may be demolished in 2014 to make way for a High School Extension.
