Community comes together for Litter Pick

Kesgrave Town Council organised and publicised a community litter pick on Saturday 20 May as part of the Love East Suffolk initiative to spring clean various areas of the Town.

The Town Council was pleasantly surprised that around 50 people turned up, including 18 children and young people, even though it started raining as they set out to their designated routes.

A small mountain of rubbish was collected by the pickers.  The Town Council would like to thank all the families and individuals who made the effort a great success and to East Suffolk Council for providing extra equipment for the event.

The support for these sort of initiatives help to keep Kesgrave special for those who live and work there.
