As many people will know articles for the Kesgrave News magazine have to be written over a week before the end of the month and so in this case there is more information now available. Suffolk Coastal confirmed that an extension to 18th December on the application decision date had been agreed. They have now stated they are waiting for the developers to indicate how they wish to proceed. If amended plans are put forward then these will be subject to re-consultation and the decision date further extended. However it has been confirmed that the application will not be considered at the 10th December meeting. December Kesgrave News Article: Many people will have already seen that some portacabins have been put on the land between Cedarwood School and Fentons Wood. These belong to the developer who owns the land and have submitted a planning application to Suffolk Coastal District Council. The target date for a decision on this application was the 16th November and the Town Council had hoped to be able to advise residents this month on what is happening. However at the time of writing this article for the magazine no decision had been made. It may be that the application will be considered by the District Council Development Control Sub Committee on the 10th December but there could instead be a decision delegated to an Officer, in which case the application would be refused. When something more definite is known this will be posted on the Town Council website and notices put in the notice boards.
