Land between Cedarwood School and Fentons Wood (FF) - Update

Residents who wrote to Suffolk Coastal making comment about the original plans will have already been advised that a revised plan for the area known as FF (the land which lies between Fentons Wood and Cedarwood School) is now being considered.

The plans are available at Suffolk Coastal and their office is open from 8.45 – 5.15 on Monday to Thursday, and from 8.45 – 4.45 on Friday.

A copy of the plans has been received at the Kesgrave Council office and will be available to the public to view from Friday 5th February during office opening hours which are Monday and Friday 9.00 – 1.00 and Wednesday 9.00 – 3.00.

Kesgrave Council will consider the plans at their meeting on 8th February, following which a response to Suffolk Coastal will be drafted. This response will then be confirmed at the Planning and Development meeting on 15th February.

It would be most helpful if members of the public who write to Suffolk Coastal could forward a copy to the Town Council in order that their comments can be considered for inclusion in the Town Council letter.

Some considerable changes have been made to the layout on the site and these can be seen in the copies of the plans attached.

The Town Council are of course aware that many people would like to see this land developed in other ways but the site has been designated for housing development since the mid 1980's and the value of the land reflects this.
